Anyways, I had a better reason for posting today. Yesterday morning Seth(my wonderfull husband!) brought me to Joanns to get a few much needed supplies! Bought some thread and a couple zippers, plus ended up finding a few nice remnants of black and lime green fleece. Score!
So since I FINALLY had thread I got straight to work sewing up a couple things that have been waiting for some time to be sewn!
First of all I finally got to sew up my first wet bag!! Mossy Oak camo for DH of course ;)
Tutorial I used to make: http://alemonsqueezyhome.blogspot.com/2010/05/wetbag-tutorial.html
And I managed to get a Snail Shell Diaper done! (from what I have heard these are supposed to be great for newborns who are breast fed)
You need to get a username and password to see this but so worth it! Lots of useful information on this board!
I made these fleece longies a couple weeks ago, but thought I'd show them off since I am showing off the cowboys diaper that matches :) I made them for our little boy to wear to his grandma and grandpas house. They are big cowboys fans and the fleece I used was actually leftover fleece from making DH's dad a cowboys quilt 2 Christmas' ago.
This was my first try at making longies, and I'm really happy with how they turned out! The cuff on the right leg is a little smaller than the cuff on the left but I don't think it will be noticable once they are on him. I made the legs a little longer than average, because I just have a feeling he is going to be a tall little boy. Seth was very long when he was born and my family is also prone to tall skinny boys!
Here's the pattern for the longies, don't have a tutorial but it's pretty simple to figure out yourself:

Congrats on starting your "to do" list. Hope you enjoy every minute of crafting for the precious little one!
