It's been too long!!!

I have been WAY too busy! I can't believe I put off posting for so long!! I will be posting again next week with lots of pictures! But for now I'm just going to update everyone on what has been going on here. I have finished sewing all of my newborn diapers, 3 Small snail shell diapers, and 1 small fitted. Yesterday I battled with my dad's computer for 3 HOURS to get the cloth revolution diaper pattern to print out(he has a Mac and it was just NOT cooperating with me!). I am planning on making 3 more small snail shells(cut out and ready to sew) and then will be making small/medium fitteds out of scrap fabric using the cloth revolution pattern. I am excited to be finished with the diaper sewing!! I have made a bunch of fleece covers. Some are sitting in a bag next to me waiting to be snapped(that is my job today).
I have the giraffe print wall ALMOST finished. I am working on the second coat of paint and am about half done with that, then DH will be painting the light green on the rest of the walls!! I am so excited for the painting to be finished! We have decided not to paint the giraffes on the wall. I really wanted too, but with some of the crazy things that have come up for us to get done before January I just can't see having enough time to finish it. But really I think the giraffe print is enough. I mean we got a TON of giraffe stuff from DH's mom, and my dad gave us the idea to print out the giraffe pictures he took in California at the Living Desert to hang on the wall.
I so wish that all I had to work on and stress about right now was just finishing sewing up our little boys stuff and then painting and setting up the nursery, but it is not the case. We own a duplex, and rent out one side. Our renters decided to move out the beginning of November and they had previously payed their last months rent so we had to pay full mortgage for the duplex last month and this month. We also have to replace all the flooring and repaint, as well as install a new kitchen sink, fix the microwave, find a new garage door opener that is compatible with the model we have. And of course I still have ALL of our holiday shopping today. Oh and not to mention we have 5 birthdays in our family this month. lol. Luckily this will all be over when we hit January. We will be able to get a new renter in and be set just in time to introduce our little boy to the world!!
I've also been having severe issues with hip pain. I went to the chiropractor, which normally helps a lot, but it has not helped this time, and I am thinking my only option will be physical therapy. But that has definitely bogged me down a bit this month. Despite all that I am remaining positive, and telling myself not to panic even though that's exactly what my pregnancy hormones want me to do!!! lol.

On Wednesday my friend Meggan did a maternity shoot with me. It was a last second one because someone canceled on her for a shoot that day. We have my real shoot scheduled for next Thursday and hopefully we will have the nursery done enough to get some pictures in there! But for now, a teaser!! And an announcement of our little boys official name! :)









OH! BTW, today is me and Seth's 4th Anniversary!! :D
